CHECK OUT THE SUPER BUS...WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE ON??
The spectacularly handled Wubbo Ockels -- professor of aerospace and the Netherlands’ first astronaut -- has spent 13 million euro developing a six-wheel, 23-passenger electric ‘bus’ with a top speed of 155mph.
The monster debuts in May at a trade show in Dubai -- global nexus of what-the-hell-were-you-thinking.
It's called the Superbus, and according to the people that built it, it's going to revolutionalize public transport. The Superbus drives 250 kms per hour and is fully electric. According to its makers, the Superbus is interesting for metropolitan areas that do not want to invest a lot of money into railway infrastructure for hi-speed trains. It combines the speed of high speed trains with the flexibility of road transport.

AGORAPHOBIC CAN'T LEAVE HOUSE BUT IS MASSIVE STAR IN ASIA THANKS TO THE TUBE THAT IS YOU...
A 20-year-old Worcestershire girl has become a pop star in China and Japan - despite not leaving her own house for two years. Jemma Pixie Hixon always dreamed of becoming a star but her fledgling career came to a halt when she developed agoraphobia, reports the Daily Mail. So she decided to film herself singing in a makeshift recording studio in her bedroom in Malvern then post the footage on the internet. Thanks to those recordings Miss Hixon, 20, is now a big name in China and Japan where millions of people have watched her performances on YouTube. She performs a mixture of covers of chart hits and her own songs, and last month, one video achieved 'most viewed' status in China with more than six million hits. She said: "For the last two years I've been struggling with agoraphobia. I used to perform all the time and I really wanted a way I could continue. "I decided to put my songs up on YouTube so I could share them with lots of people, even though I'm still housebound." Miss Hixon, who lives with her parents Tonia, 50, and Mark, 49, has never suffered stage fright and even once sang on live television. She said: "When I was 13 I won a competition on The Saturday Show on BBC1 to sing with the Sugababes. I sang on live TV and it didn't bother me at all, but I just turn into a big panic ball when I try to leave the house. "It is weird to think that there are people in China and Japan with my poster on their walls and songs on their iPods while I haven't left the house for two years."

A large sandstorm hit the Sahara Desert on the 9th April and at approx 3am in the night the sandstorm hit me, making it nearly impossible to see the sky with my own eyes.
Interestingly enough my camera was set for a 5 hour sequence of the milky way during this time and I was sure my whole scene was ruined. To my surprise, my camera had managed to capture the sandstorm which was backlit by Grand Canary Island making it look like golden clouds. The Milky Way was shining through the clouds, making the stars sparkle in an interesting way.

Bendy record breaker Moses Lanham has the rare ability to put his feet the wrong way round - and he's now trying out for a Guinness World Record.
Lanham's flexibility has already made him a minor star – with David Hasselhoff describing him as the ‘freakiest thing I’ve ever seen’ when he went on America’s Got Talent in 2009. The 49-year-old’s bizarre talent has been passed down to his son Trey – although the youngster is not quite as nimble as his old man. While 17-year-old Trey becomes uncomfortable after several minutes in the backwards position, his father finds it more relaxing. ‘It’s a shame because I was hoping I could retire and be his manager,’ said Mr Lanham. ‘A lot of times when I’m sitting down I’ll put my feet in a twisted position because it’s more comfortable for me.’
The tax accountant and theatre usher from Monroe, Michigan, was born with extra tissue and cartilage in his joints, which made his hips, knees and ankles very flexible. He discovered the ability at school when he fell 5m (18ft) from a rope during PE. ‘They thought something was dislocated. But I stood up and was fine,’ he said. While at university, Mr Lanham used to put his clothes on backwards to match the direction of his turned feet, giving the impression his head was on the wrong way round. He now hopes his ‘talent’ can land him a Guinness World Record. He walked 20m (66ft) in 19.59sec with his feet pointing in the wrong direction for a TV show in Milan. To tie in with the track, the guys have re-visited the video for their 1987 classic, ‘Fight For Your Right’, and enlisted the likes of Will Ferrell, John C. Riley, Jack Black, Ted Danson and Seth Rogen, among others, in a hilarious sequel to the original video.
The 30 minute video will be available later this month, but in the meantime...

A 'vampire mother' has had titanium 'horns' implanted, to complement the tattoos that cover almost 100 per cent of her body.
Maria Hose Cristerna, a mum of four from Mexico, showed off her unusual looks at a tattoo exhibition in Monterrey in California recently. She had her body transformed as a reaction to enduring years of abuse at home. The striking look is completed by specially shaped vampire 'fang' teeth, fake eye colours and massive earrings – but she's not finished yet! The 35-year-old claims that she wants even more horns implanted. 'Tattoos were a form of liberation for me – my way of being immortal - and the horns I have are a symbol of strength and were implanted without anaesthetic,' she told The Sun.'I had the fangs done because I loved vampires as a little girl and I changed the colour of my eyes so they were how I really wanted them to be.'

Luna the cow has made a teenager Regina Mayer's riding dreams come true after the girl’s parents dashed her hopes of getting a horse. And, thanks to the hours Regina spent training Luna, they can enjoy more than just a leisurely canter. The beloved bovine regularly jumps over a hurdle of logs on beer crates with the 15-year-old on her back and even understands ‘go’, ‘stand’ and ‘gallop’. Regina said: ‘She thinks she’s a horse. When she wants to do something, she does it, when she doesn’t, she doesn’t.’ It all started soon after Luna was born two years ago. Regina would take her on walks near her parents’ farm in Laufen, southern Germany, and gradually got her ‘pet’ used to riding equipment. Six months later, Regina braved the saddle for the first time. She said: ‘Luna was well behaved and walked normally. But after a couple of metres she wanted me to get off. You could see she got a bit peeved.’ Now their rides can last up to an hour. Anne Wiltafsky, who trains cows near Zurich, claims Luna’s abilities are normal. ‘Younger ones can jump really well,’ she said.

The person happened to be using the camera phone because the truck and trailer in the video were sort of racing, not letting either pass, and the person thought the 2 vehicles might have an accident.
