Throughout October Debenhams Patrick St. are raising money for Breast Cancer Campaign. This is the ninth year of Debenhams’ support for the charity and Debenhams Patrick St. will be joining all other Debenhams stores nationwide for four weeks of fund-raising fun with a pink twist. To make sure shoppers know about Debenhams support for the charity staff will be taking their turn on an exercise bike, dressed in pink, of course. The Patrick St. store aims to raise €2,500 for the charity. The money raised will go to Dr. Marie McIlroy’s cancer research project at the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. This project is working to provide researchers with vital information to design a new blood test which could predict which breast cancers will become drug resistant.
