no tackling from behind lads...

Kiss and tell WAG Nives Celsius, who recently published a book "In bed with Cristiano" offering a behind the scenes look at sex, footballers and their wives and girlfriends, has announced she will feature as a striker in a Croatian football league game saying: "I like to make the first moves and I have a good technique for getting to the balls." Tongue-firmly-in-cheek I'm thinking....
Yes truly she has been signed to play for Croatian team Slaven Belupo for the opening match of the season against Zagreb FC leaving local football officials looking in the rule book to find a reason to ban a female player. But Nives said she didn't care as her position was fixed, adding: "My husband was my coach. We have been practising a lot." Nives refused to say how long she would be on the pitch she might want to make it a brief appearance as I reckon that quite a few of the Zagreb FC players may wish to 'tackle her from behind.'

hacktivist group anonymous respond to FBI statement...

In the wake of the recent arrests of 16 suspected members of the hacker collective Anonymous in the US, the headless ones have issued a statement:

We recently stumbled across the following article with amazement and a certain amount of amusement. The statements made by deputy assistant FBI director Steve Chabinsky in this article clearly seem to be directed at Anonymous and Lulz Security, and we are happy to provide you with a response. You state:

“We want to send a message that chaos on the Internet is unacceptable, [even if] hackers can be believed to have social causes, it’s entirely unacceptable to break into websites and commit unlawful acts.”

Now let us be clear here, Mr. Chabinsky, while we understand that you and your colleagues may find breaking into websites unacceptable, let us tell you what WE find unacceptable:

* Governments lying to their citizens and inducing fear and terror to keep them in control by dismantling their freedom piece by piece.

* Corporations aiding and conspiring with said governments while taking advantage at the same time by collecting billions of funds for federal contracts we all know they can’t fulfil.

* Lobby conglomerates who only follow their agenda to

push the profits higher, while at the same time being deeply involved in governments around the world with the only goal to infiltrate and corrupt them enough so the status quo will never change.

These governments and corporations are our enemy. And we will continue to fight them, with all methods we have at our disposal, and that certainly includes breaking into their websites and exposing their lies.

We are not scared any more. Your threats to arrest us are meaningless to us as you cannot arrest an idea. Any attempt to do so will make your citizens more angry until they will roar in one gigantic choir.

It is our mission to help these people and there is nothing – absolutely nothing – you can possibly to do make us stop. ”The Internet has become so important to so many people that we have to ensure that the World Wide Web does not become the Wild Wild West.” Let me ask you, good sir, when was the Internet not the Wild Wild West? Do you really believe you were in control of it at any point? You were not.

That does not mean that everyone behaves like an outlaw. You see, most people do not behave like bandits if they have no reason to. We become bandits on the Internet because you have forced our hand.

The Anonymous bitchslap rings through your ears like hacktivism movements of the 90s. We’re back – and we’re not going anywhere.

Expect us.

wtf? check out the crazy face of crazy faces...

a back-heeled penalty? genius or disrespectful...you decide...

United Arab Emirates versus Lebanon.
In the 78th minute the UAE had a penalty and Awana Diab took responsibility for the kick. Things started normally as he began his run-up, but crazily, the number 13 spun a 180 midway towards the ball.
Then, in one of the most unsportsmanlike, arrogant, and yet truly hysterical incidents, Diab backheeled the penalty on goal. The cherry on the top arrived when, despite the spot-kick being pretty awful, the lame Lebanon keeper just watched it trickle into the net.
Afterwards some of the Lebanese team threatened to start some argy-bargy for the disrespect, but it all fizzled out fast.
Final score: UAE 6 Lebanon 2

angry with the world? why not tattoo it on your forehead...if you are an idiot that is...

Patrick Brooks, 21, has become something of an internet sensation after being photographed for a police mugshot with the words 'F*** You' emblazoned across his forehead.

While Brooks' tattoo is probably endearing him to other inmates in prison, not everyone has been quite so lucky with their choices of body art. Last year, a mugshot was released of naive radio listener David Jonathan Winkelman, with him displaying his rather unfortunate tattoo. Winkelman and his stepbrother, Richard Goddard, had the logo for hard-rock radio station KORB tattooed on their foreheads after a presenter claimed there was a six-figure sum up for grabs for anyone who did so. After hearing the offer, the gullible duo headed straight to a body artist, who etched the permanent reminder of their naivety on their faces. Staff at the radio station told the pair it was actually a practical joke when they arrived to collect their prize money, and their mistake was revealed after Winkelman was arrested on a misdemeanour charge and his mugshot made its way onto the web.

who is the worst driver in the Netherlands? eh, this guy, this guy is...no contest

A contestant on the Dutch TV show Who Is The Worst Driver In The Netherlands? has well and truly staked his claim after he ran down a TV presenter during filming for the final episode.BNN reporter and television personality Ruben Nicolai was standing to the side of a 'braking from speed test' when the contestant known as 'Pim' swerved off the tarmac and ploughed straight into both a cameraman and Nicolai himself. Luckily no-one was seriously injured in the smash which occured when Pim took his eyes off the road and ran over traffic cones. In a split-second the car left the road and headed toward the nearby crew as Pim closed his eyes and hoped for the best. Travelling In his car were two female passengers - an instructor sitting in the front seat and Pim's friend in the back. The bone-crunching accident did have one positive impact for the TV show though, with the broadcast attracting a record 1.2million viewers. After spending a night in hospital, a shaken Nicolai reassured viewers that he would make a full recovery: 'I've just a little pain in my shoulder and my foot. We all had the fright of our lives.'
Funnily enough, or perhaps unsurprisingly enough, Pim has had his licence revoked :p
