WHAT WAS HE THINKING?? HANDCUFFED SUSPECT DIVES HEAD FIRST OUT OF MOVING COP CAR

Suspected burglar Nicholas Duffy decided the risk of death was worth the chance of escaping arrest in this crazy video, which shows him leaping from the window of a moving police car - while handcuffed. Duffy, 20, provided us with one of the more novel escape attempts we've seen when he complained of feeling unwell while being driven along a highway near Salt Lake City, Utah. After having the window opened for him and being provided with a bucket by officers, Duffy makes a brazen attempt at getting away when he undoes his seatbelt and leaps from the window. The car was travelling at 35mph at the time - and on a busy road - and Victor Tuezada of Sandy Police Department said 'completely lucked out' by not killing himself. 'This young man could have been run over by cars behind him, hit his head and been killed instantly,' he said. 'He's a very lucky guy to still be alive.'
